{Pattern Release} Flutterby Peasant Dress & Top

I’ve been very slack in posting lately and so I have two pattern releases to tell you about.

Right now I’m going to tell you about is my very versatile peasant dress pattern, which I’ve named the FLUTTERBY.

The Details:

Size range: nb-12yrs
Lengths: Dress length with and without ruffle / Top length with and without ruffle.
Sleeve options: Long, 3/4, short and flutter ( with different variations of each of these, you end up with a total of 10 different sleeves)
Fabric: Its designed for woven but it works perfectly in knit also.

Once again I had some awesome testers for this pattern, and here is a run down of the different styles using my tester photos.

Top without ruffle

Top with ruffle

Dress without ruffle

Dress with ruffle

This peasant dress pattern is slimmer fitting than most, and has a slight A-Line shape to it, which creates a slimmer, fitted silhouette.
It includes pattern pieces rather than a cutting chart.
My favourite sleeves are the flutter sleeve.
Such a simple, yet very effectively whimsical look is created by this sleeve.
If you would like to purchase this pattern you can get it here

{Pattern Release} Scalloped Princess Dress

Wow, its been a while since I posted.
I’ve been rather busy with my patterns, but I’m sure you will LOVE this one.  I do.
It is named this because of the gorgeous scalloped bodice and hem detail that is its feature.  however my testers discovered that is make a perfect drawing board for a Disney princess dress…
We had  Snow White and Anna & Elsa from Frozen, as well as Minnie Mouse, Sleeping Beauty and Tinkerbell inspired.
It not only can be an awesome princess dress, but it can be a normal everyday pretty dress.

This pattern works well in any type of woven fabric, from quilting cotton to satin.  Anything with a beautiful drape to it is perfect.
Purchase it here.
and until tomorrow night (2/6/14) it is on special for $8

Beachcomber Pinny Sew-a-Long

To celebrate the release of my latest pattern, the Beachcomber Pinny, I’m going to run a sew-a-long.  I’ve never done one of these before so I’m not entirely sure how they go, but I’m going to give it a go and hope some others join in with the fun.
The BeachComber Pinny is a delightful little pinafore style dress with snaps or buttons at the shoulders and a simple A-line shape.  It does however have a point of difference from any other “just another pinafore”  It has HUGE POCKETS, and I mean huge, you could seriously collect a whole beach full of shells in them.
It comes in sizes 0-3months right up to size 12 and has some different options that, together with mixing up fabrics you can create some seriously cute dresses.

You can purchase the pattern here

Just check out these tester photos, aren’t they adorable???

{Pattern Release} Leila’s Everyday Blouse

I’m stoked to announce the release of my latest pattern.  Leila’s Everyday Blouse
Its a sweet little blouse pattern with SO… MANY…OPTIONS.
One of the reasons it has taken me longer than usual to get this one completed is because I kept thinking of new options…hence that there are 6, yes I said 6, sleeve options.  there are also 2 hem lines, and 2 collar options.
Portia 20 months wearing a blouse with flutter sleeves with ruffled collar.  Perfect for summer
I want to say a HUGE thank you to all my testers for this pattern.  It was a big job and I am so thankful that you didn’t get annoyed with me when I thought of YET ANOTHER??? idea.
Aren’t their photos just gorgeous.
and I’m going to leave you with a sneak peek of the add on that is coming… I just couldn’t put this in the pattern as well as it was already so huge.  The ADD ON will include instructions and pattern pieces to make your blouse with a yolk and a gathered front, as well as a pleated back.
Now for the giveaway…
You could win this pattern for FREE…now every one likes free don’t they?
Just fill in the rafflecopter box thingy.  It ends Tuesday 12am and the winner will be contacted by email and announced on my facebook page.

{Pattern Release} Sweet’n’Sassy Bubble Shorts

I am so super excited to anounce the release of my latest (VERY CUTE) pattern.
They come in sizes 2-12years and they feature the cutest little bows down the side and with all the different panels you can chop and change the fabrics at will to create some really striking shorts.
I just love the sass my testers models showed when they were wearing these shorts, just goes to show that they really loved them.
you know you really want to buy here to purchase
The pattern is not limited to the bows down the sides, aswell as the pocket option the panel is open to interpretation from the sewer.
One of my testers (doing the older size) chose to do a lace up version and I must say they turned out very well indeed.  I would love to see what versions/options you come up with.
Arent these two just the cutest???
And just to keep you insuspense, there is going to be a competition coming up REAL soon, with some awesome pattern prizes, so keep an eye out.

{Pattern Release} Estrella, Portia Pants and Sleeved Bib

I’ve been very busy lately with getting my latest three patterns finished and released.
The Estrella comes in sizes NB – 12years and has a few different options.
Open back or closed skirt
Button closure or laced up back
bias hem or turned up hem.
It only has the measurements for a long top, but would be easy to customise a tunic or dress length just by measuring your child.
the Portia Pants/Shorts come in sizes NB – 2years and are very baggy style of pant, that is just perfect to go over cloth nappies.  And bonus they match really well with the Estrella!!

The Sleeved bib comes in 4 sizes
Mini – 0-6months
Small – 6m-1 1/2y
Medium – 1y – 2 1/2y
Large – 2y – 3 1/2

Aren’t they just the cutest!!
